This family history website is a tribute to my cousins Alan & Maurice Heywood who, with help from cousins Veronica & Jennifer, did a tremendous amount of work researching the Heywood family history.
Tragically, Maurice died suddenly at the age of 54 and then, three years later, Alan lost his fight against cancer at the age of 52.
The contents of this site and the family tree - as far as I know it - are based on their research plus a large input from another distant cousin, Lynn Fournier, in Canada. (With a few additions by me.)
